My Name is Ted is a multi-award winning Irish brand creating luxury handbag collections inspired by life. The fascinating story of Ted Carbery using his mouth and left hand in the 1950’s to make leather bags and accessories, inspired Ted’s grandson Brendan McEvoy and his wife Kasia to bring the family tradition and brand back to life.
Producing Luxury Handbags
When the husband and wife duo set out to follow the vision of Brendan’s grandfather Ted in 2017, they started researching, designing and producing luxury handbags in accordance with Ted’s notes in his diary which dates back to 1959. Little did they think their designs would travel far beyond their native country Ireland.

The brand has since established a reputation for exceptional standards of functionality and practicality, and most of all, their uncompromising quality of only the finest Italian leathers and solid brass hardware from Gold certified Italian suppliers. The well known signature Door Bag Collection has fans and proud owners around the world from New York to Singapore. Each piece is designed in Ireland and meticulously handcrafted in Italy, to last for generations.
